If you can't get enough of Laika, you may have been burned by the EPs associated with their first two releases. The EPs from Good Looking Blues seem a much better bet, from packaging on up. Rather than trusting their carefully-crafted sound to thoughtless remixers (even Luke Vibert, who should know better), they just released outtakes this time. Since they're Laika, their outtakes sound as rich and hypnotic as the original album tracks. (My guess is they're only outtakes because they would have upset the trademark Laika balance of frenetic to melancholic tracks on the album.) Standout is "Lie Low", punning on the word "lie" as a relationship sadly powers down.
