This is the fourth Ray Gordon book I've read, and a absolute must for fans of erotic litrature.
A great story line with lots of steamy erotic episodes to keep you gripped from start to finish.
A Ghostly story set in a depraved Brothel with Alison as the madame or is she?
A must read for Gordon fans up there with 'Addicted' my fave read of his, can't wait to read more of his books.

Spirits of the past with sexual appetites want to pass over. Trapped on the property of a former whorehouse. Erotic writing was a little on the SM side, and conversations/personalities in the story were not very believable.

Overall not as good as I had hoped.
While it had some good sex scenes, the story, what little of it there was, wasn't that great at all. The story nor the characters in it, had any depth to them. I've found that nothing beats a great story, and having a great story means you've done your homework building the foundational pieces of the story and the characters, something this book lacked entirely. Good idea, mediocre execution.
The story follows a young woman, down on her luck, who receives, out of the blue, money, just enough to buy this huge mansion. She then starts attracting other girls, and patrons to the mansion, since it used to be a brothel, and becomes one again. There's also a whole side story about the deceased former madame/owner, some kind of supernatural thing that I won't go into (because I didn't even understand it well enough) that was very poorly written.
If you're looking for a basic book with lots of sex, maybe try this one out. If you're like a story with a solid foundation and characters, I'd pass on this book.
