Although ages old and of mixed quality this is well worth buying, as is Game Set Match, if you like a crafted, distinctive 'traditional folk' style which has influenced many of the current British folk artists. The reason I posted this 'review' is-if you love his music, as I do, then buy from him at Mollie Music- which has now moved to Yelverton. This double CD is available from them at a 'normal double CD price & not the ludicrous amounts wanted from the sellers listed !

Collected from illicit tapes, sound board recordings and 'lost' broadcasts this compilations captures Nic at the top of his game before the accident prevented him performing. The owner of most of his back catalogue refuses to allow it to be sold so this is all we have (officially) apart from Penguin Eggs.
Brilliant guitar work, passionate peformances and thoughtfull singing, Nic was, in his prime, a force of nature and without him UK folk now would look and sound very different.
Essential for all folkies and anyone who thinks he can play a guitar!!

Amazing British Folk musician's musician. All his stuff is amazing. Rich, cool, unique to him guitar sound and a sweet strong unaffected voice with heart. Check his stuff out.
