About the Author
Stephen Jones is a Lecturer in Law at the University of Bristol and a qualified barrister, who has taught criminology for many years. He is also a member of the Board of Visitors at H.M. Prison, Eastwood Park. His previous publications include Criminology (1998).

This is an excellent resource for my teaching and for students doing criminology. A range of theoretical perspectives are covered and a very interesting read overall. Great service from this seller and highly recommended book.

One of the best texts written on contemporary issues surrounding violence. Yes, there could have been some more on consensual acts of violence but generally this is an intelligent text that covers a lot of ground.
