Product Description

Review

"The revisions made to the new edition do more than merely update the text, instead adding a significant new dimension to it. They ensure that the book speaks to the latest intellectual developments as well as the latest policy developments, refreshing its scope and outlook as well as its empirical content. In short, they have strengthened still further an excellent text." John Hudson, University of York <!––end––> --This text refers to an out of print or unavailable edition of this title.

This book is fairly well written with a good deal of information presented in a readable format. One criticism is that the information provided is not always as thorough as could be. Advise using in conjunction with other authors.

Michael Hill's series never fails to disappoint (I own every edition!). This should be (and usually is!) compulsory reading for all sciences students and teachers.
