This was the first book I had ever read that was entirely on the EU. Out of the other EU books I have subsequently read I can say that this book is by far the best. It is an easy read, that goes into quite a lot of detail so is not too sketchy, but at the same time is not overly complicated. The book does what it says it will do, and has certainly given me an Understanding the European Union. If you want to read on a specific area this book prehaps is not the best, but on the other hand certainly has more detail than other general EU books. A very worthwhile read - thanks!
