It's about time someone wrote a book on chaos magic that explains what it is, where it came from, and what it's all about. This is the book, and I'm looking forward to reading more by this author.

So you've read stuff by Pete Carroll, Phil Hine, Dave Lee, Charles Brewster and/or Ray Sherwin, but where did all this Chaos stuff come from? This book provides the answers in an easy to read and definitive history, including photos and maps of Austin Spares old basement appartement...

...well, the patch of grass over which it is reputed to be in any case! Your humble reviewer has used the maps to go and find the patch of grass for himself, now transformed into some peoples front gardens, and can confirm it is a pilgrimage well worth making.

This book gives the basic information that is assumed in most other books on the same subject. An easy to read style simplifies that which seems complicated, and makes a good starting point for anyone interested in learning about what chaos magic is and is all about.
