This is a very thorough and useful book. I will admit I have yet to read the entire book cover to cover but I cannot even begin to estimate how many times I have referred to chapters, sections, concepts, etc. located within the book. I am impressed with how each chapter in the book is independent from the others. For instance, if you need to know about assessment you could easily read just that chapter and arm yourself with all the knowledge you need without even glancing at the other chapters. Of course this depends on your level of prior knowledge, experience, and expertise. If you know little about adolescent sex offenders or are just beginning your career in this field, reading the first few chapters will provide you with a wealth of knowledge. But if you are a veteran then each chapter will make sense in and of itself.
This book is well written, easy to understand, and comprehensive. I would strongly recommend it to anyone working in this field or even to someone who is considering this field but still has questions about the breadth of what this field encompasses. It will inform the reader!
