Product Description

From the Back Cover

Superstars Kathleen Turner and Dennis Quaid play a pair of quick witted, sure-footed super-spies who are persuaded out of maternity leave...and into a world class action in this wacky, screwball farce that's sure to keep you laughing.

Jeff and Jane Blue (Quaid and Turner) are parents of the 90's. They also happen to be espionage agents and the United States only chance to maintain national security. Just as they are about to embark upon "Phase 2" in thier lives - the phase that would allow them a normal lifestyle in which to raise thier baby - the cosmopolitan couple is called upon to save the world from a corrupt czech arms embezzler. Not an easy task for two new parents who have to make it home for the late night feeding!

A hilarious supporting cast of characters - including Tom Arnold and Park Overall as oblivious vacationers - add to the uproarious fun. Set among the sights and sounds of jazzy New Orleans,Undercover Blues is one action comedy you'll want to investigate!

Both Quad and Turner are excellent and there are some great one liners. The comic struggles of the would be leathal 'Morte' are worth the video price alone, this is not deep, but real good fun all the same. Break out thr POPCORN!

OK, let me start out by saying that this is one of my favorite movies; it's a nice combination of romance and action. I like Dennis Quaid and Kathleen Turner as a couple, finding them to be a lot of fun. The action is very good, and the scene where Dennis Quaid beats up a bad guy with a baby in one hand and a stroller in the other is great! Yep, this is an excellent movie, one of my all-time favorites!

By the way, as far as family viewing is concerned, this is a very family-friendly movie. The violence is limited, with is no blood to be seen, and no nudity. I love this movie, and so does my family (especially my fourteen-year-old daughter!). We highly recommend this movie!

Undercover Blues is one of those movies that are the first of its genera; so you are pleasantly surprised the first time you view it. Later you will want to view this movie again to pick up on the hints that tell you what is to come next.

Kathleen Turner and Dennis Quaid are the perfect couple on maternity leave in New Orleans. They do everything together and even involve their baby daughter (Louise Jane or Jane Louise.) They are so perfect that the local bad guy (Stanley Tucci) is constantly trying to get even with them. They are so perfect that the local authorities suspect them of being there on business. Are they and what business might that be?

This movie has lots of action and takes many unexpected turns. It is tightly made and every action has implications later in the movie. Oh, did I mention that it is down right funny?
