Book Description

Sarina is scarred. Her L'inar, the curving nerve lines that enable Inarrii to experience their full sexuality, were severed in battle and she can no longer reach completion. Until she accepts a job as bodyguard to the human ambassador John Bennings, and is astonished to discover that they share a mental bond—a mirrored pathway of thoughts that will allow Sarina to climax.

When John's the target of an attack and they are forced into hiding, he's not sorry to be in close quarters with the compelling Sarina. They explore their erotic connection, and John is happy to demonstrate that humans have more sexual skills than Sarina thought.

To prove that she is whole and rejoin her Inarrii clan, Sarina needs John to bring her to climax in public in accordance with tradition. With a roomful of Inarrii and humans watching, will John be willing to perform as Sarina needs—and will their public display make John vulnerable to another attack?

More About the Author

Lilly Cain is a wild woman with a deep throaty laugh, plunging necklines and a great lover of all things sensual - perfume, chocolate, silk! She never has to worry about finding a date or keeping a man in line. She keeps her blond hair long and curly, wears beautiful clothes and loves loud music. Lilly lives her private life in the pages of her books.

Lilly lives in Atlantic Canada, although she spent eight years in Bermuda, enjoying the heat and the pink sands. She returned to her homeland so she could see the changing of the seasons once again. When not writing she paints, swills coffee and vodka (but not together), and fights her writing pals for chocolate.

When not living up to her pen name, Lilly is a single mom who loves reading and writing, dabbling in art and loving and caring for her two daughters. She loves romance and the freedom erotic fantasy provides her imagination. She loves the chilling moments in her novels as much as the steaming hot interludes. Her stories are an escape and a release, and she hopes that they can give you that power, too.

In August 2011, Lilly's alter ego Nancy Cassidy opened and began her freelance work, editing all genres of fiction, with the exception of picture books or middle grade fiction. In July 2012 she joined the Editors Association of Canada, and in August 2012 became an acquisitions editor for Etopia Press. It's an exciting time!

I loved this third story in Lilly Cain's Confederacy Treaty and I really hope there are more to come. Lush eroticism and fiery sensuality with well written characters, this story has it all. If you haven't read the other two, you can start with this book, but I recommend grabbing the first two, Alien Revealed and The Naked Truth because if you don't you're missing out on some fabulous stories! Keep them coming Ms. Cain!

"Undercover Alliance" by Lilly Cain was a good fantasy science fiction erotic romantic read that I found very interesting read. This is the third novel in the Confederacy Treaty series which was a sexy sci-fi read. I found this novel a very good one starting with the main character who was Sarina. Sarina was a alien called Inarrii..that had sexual species that were called L'inar that run along their entire bodies. These were nerve endings that make ones sexual encounters very lovely and also this helps the Inarrii to reach their sexual completion. When the story begins, Sarina is damaged; her external nerve system that defines her race has been severed, and she's unable to reach a sexual climax, which her people determine is necessary to their mental health. Now, if you are wondering just what all that is about I will stop here and say you must pick up the good read "Undercover Alliance" to find out just what this has to do with Sarina. Will she get this back?

I did enjoy this fantasy read and found it hard to put down until the end which wasn't bad because the whole novel was about 100 pages.

If you are looking for a good fantasy science fiction erotic romantic read...then I would recommend "Undercover Alliance" as a good read for your enjoyment.
5.0 out of 5 stars A Reading the Paranormal Review 10 July 2012

Say it with me now: Sexy Sci-Fi is my crack. I'm still irrationally obsessed with finding more of the good stuff and this book hit the spot. So to speak. In fact, this whole series makes me happy. Aliens! Who like to have sex! The humans who can keep up with them both sexually and mentally! I'm bouncing in my seat over this. Seriously.

The worldbuilding in this series is so fun. I really do love that the Inarii's well-being is tied to sex. Without release, they slowly lose their minds. Sarina is on the slow train to crazy town since the injury she sustained keeps her from reaching orgasm with Inarii males. However, John's all too human approach to sex plus their sudden mental bond gives her just the push she needs to finish.

Did I mention that they're stranded on an abandoned base for a while? Just the two of them? With lots of time for sexy shenanigans? *swoon* I do like it when characters are stranded with no one to turn to but each other. And by "like", I mean that I love it.

A very fun series, the overriding arc is slowly coming to a close but danger still lurks in the wings for both our alien cohorts and the humans who match them. Would it surprise anyone if I said I wanted more? No? Excellent. More, please.

I received a complimentary copy of the book in exchange for an honest review

3.0 out of 5 stars Sexy, but convenient at times 9 July 2012

An injury in battle has left Sarina irrevocably scarred. Her people carry L'inar, hypersensitive lines throughout their bodies, which help enhance their sexual experiences. But Sarina's have been severed in one place, leading her to believe she will never again feel full sexual pleasure. Once a great warrior, now she is being relegated to bodyguard duty... because without the release of orgasm, she could slowly go insane.

John is the man Sarina is charged to protect. He is a human who is part of the treaty negotiations between her people and his. He is actually more than that, though. He is also an undercover operative tasked with seeing the treaty completed.

When Sarina and John come face-to-face, they are both attracted to one another. Sarina doesn't believe she can really reach her peak with him, but she wants to try. Lo and behold, the sexy human manages to take her to heights she thought she would never reach again. But is there any kind of future for them? And even more important, can she keep him alive long enough to find out?

The story was definitely sexy. Sarina's entire race is filled with sexual beings and their way of life made her quick and fiery sexual relationship with John more palatable. The psychic connection also eased the way for their emotional bond. The sex was hot and I really liked that the author did not force a permanent solution on them after such a short time. I was very satisfied with the ending we got.

Sometimes I felt like Sarina's alien idiosychrocies made it "easy" to overcome the roadblocks most couples would face in their situation... And the public sex wasn't great for me. But overall, I liked it well enough. It wasn't all that emotionally stirring, but it did have action and a good heat factor. This is book three in the Confederacy Treaty series, but this would work fine as a standalone.
