5.0 out of 5 stars Engaging and creepy! 8 Aug 2009
Format:Paperback
Though I am a very big fan of John Connolly's, I had not heard of this book until I saw it on Amazon and had to have it. It is in the same vain of his other ghost stories, they grab you, they get you involved and then mske your skin crawl with the knowledge of what is going to happen after the story ends. I would recommend it to anyone who loves ghost stories or anything written by him.

5.0 out of 5 stars Cor Blimey, it's that Connelly bloke again 29 April 2009
By SCUBBS
Format:Paperback
And a much needed fix, because I've read all the Charlie Parker books and was going cold turkey.
This novella shows Connolly is as much at home with straight horror as he is with the short story. This particular story is also part of the anthology Nocturnes, which I also recommend for Connelly addicts.
Highly recommended.

5.0 out of 5 stars Short story from the master of suspense 5 Oct 2010
Format:Paperback
Another great story from John Connelly, compelling right until the end, but this one should really have been included in a volume of other short stories as it was disappointing on its own.

1.0 out of 5 stars Not Worth It 11 April 2009
Format:Paperback
I bought this book as I am a John Connolly. Imagine my disgust to get a book with only 62 pages. I read it in half an hour. I wouldn't have bought had I known what I was getting for my money.I also found it a complicated story to follow. Not impressed
