As a base layer it is good but isn't as warm as something like an Icebreaker so if you're walking then this might not be for you (unless you're thinking of having lots of layers) but it's really good if you're staying active.
A big plus for me is the sizing. I'm skinny and most base layers are quite loose on me (like the ubiquitous Helly Hansens) and so don't insulate particular well. Under Armour are skin tight with the exception of the biceps which anticipate someone a bit beefier.

I use this as a rash guard for MMA training and it has helped me to cut down drastically on scraps nicks and bruises I get from training. It is also excellent in keeping me cool. I would throughly recommend it to anyone looking for a high quality cheaper alternative to the MMA Brands out there. 5 Stars all day long.

My partner wore the top for a bike ride in rather wet weather. He said it was comfortable to wear and did a reasonably good job at keeping him warm.

I FIND THIS ITEM REALLY GOOD. WEAR IT NEXT TO YOUR SKIN UNDER A SHIRT AND IT IS GREAT FOR GOLF OR OTHER SPORTS. WISH I HAD BOUGHT ONE BEFORE

cold gear it is
ok...they feel great, they make you look like superman....but as soon as you start sweating they make you feel cold and clammy. I think i'll use it in the summer!
