Format:Audio CD
If you like Genesis, Camel or Pendragon, then don't miss this CD.It is symphonic prog at its best. From the opening track to the end you will be taken on a journey of beautiful music with lush keyboards and guitars.I would rate it 5 star plus, but don't take my word, listen to it yourself & see if you agree with me.

I took note of the other (there was only one at the time by Mr Houston) and took a chance on this one.
Well - I did not have to chance my arm, what an album.
Okay, Prog it may be, but it is very accessible and beautifully crafted. At times quite majestic but subtle in its power.
The musicianship is excellent! Yes, the "trademark" multi-layered keyboards, and yet never over done or superfluous. The rhythm section is superb with some fanatastic drum fills and firm bass anchoring. The twin guitars are slick but never invasive. Add to that some fine vocals and a flute and you have Knight Area, surely one of Hollands most closely guarded secrets?
On the strength of this I ordered their first CD "Under A New Sign".
A great rock album for the discerning listener!

Phenomenal prog rock from a great band I'd certainly never heard of before.
Forget Genesis, they were never really that proggy anyway. Forget Yes, they are way past producing anything this good any more. Knight Area have taken the heart and soul of prog rock and made it rheir own.
If you like your Rickenbacker Bass, Mellow Mellotron, Deep Bass pedals, 12 string guitars, soaring guitar solos and very acceptable singing, then this is certainly your bag.
And there's even some John Barry style string synth loveliness stuff thrown in for good measure, and some lovely recorder / flute playing.
And it's all so beautifully recorded too.
So instead of listening to Supper's Ready for the zillionth time, sit back, open your ears and wallow in the splendour that is Knight Area.

This is great prog from this dutch band. Get your money out and buy both of their albums, just superb.
