This book was recomended to me by a friend. She thought I would like it, as I am a pagan, and therefor has a love for everything "magic". It was incredibly refreshing to read a sort of pagan chick-lit! Set in our time, and written with such wit and cleverness that you cant help smiling your way through the pages!
Absolutely adorable read! Good for reading while tanning in the sun on holiday!
The story tells of the 25 yr old witch Cara, who is a newly trained nanny... and she comes to work for a seemingly perfect married couple and their 7yr old son. Having grown up with a complete nut-case for a mother, Cara is looking forward to be "normal" and forget about her magical roots... Unfortunatly for Cara she finds that there are no such thing as a perfectly normal family, and as the family she lives with,, as well as her own, starts to crumble, she realizes that maybe magic is the only solution after all... But can she still do magic after denying it for so long? And can she fix everything she's screwed up? Thank goodness for clever grannies eh?
Fun fun fun....
