Format:Audio CD
I've seen Navaro live now on two occasions; 1st by accident (they were supporting Megson) and secondly by desire at a festival. The diverse vocal styles and musical influences of Beth, Pete and Steve make for an eclectic mix. Their live sound left me intrigued and led me to this album. Again, the styles and vocal ranges make for, what initially sounds to be too broad a collection of songs. First listen, mmmm, not sure. I left playing on repeat 2 or 3 times and the songs started to gel and take on the dimension of a 'whole'. Several months later, and this is still one of my current favourite listens. 'When you go from my door' and 'Blackbird' are fabulous and the rest then 'drill' their way into your head. Buy this album, give it a listen, then again, and maybe again and then you will find that you are hooked!
