The GLC releases yet another fast, hilarious, explosion of lyrics and sound. On the first listen through it didn't seem as consistently clever as their previous albums. There were definitely a few tracks with minimal action - such as the rather silly Maggot chant that pretty much does what it says on the tin - the GLC chanting "maggot" for over two minutes.
However "The Take Over", "House Party", "Hardcore Exchange", and "Spaceman" all live up the usual standard of fast hitting, self-aware rapping with quality samples.
And "Song for Kelly" made me laugh so hard I thought my eyes would pop out.
So, I've got to recommend this.
