Where do i start? Some of the tracks you will recognise yes, as they are existing covers, but most of the material is new and unheard. No 2 tracks are the same on this extremely varied album, and all tastes are most definitely catered for. No matter where your musical tatse lies, there really is something for everyone.
Personally, the album should be commended for Tom Hodge's orchestral version of Daft Punk's hugely successful 'Aerodynamic' (finds fame in the Pantene Advert with Mylene Klaas) which i hope you will agree is an amazing song. Notable tracks also include reinventions of the iconic 'Billie Jean', 'Ain't Nobody' and a COMPLETELY outstanding take on the club-classic 'Hideaway'
Covers and Remakes are always a tentative topic, with people either loving them or completely hating them. I absolutely love this album. Every track is innovative and completely removed from the original version. There's definitely no 'slaughtered classics' here in my opinion!
Give it a go. I think you'll be pleasantly surprised.
