I've seen Ian's name flying about the internet E-zine, Scene for sometime now. His stories stick out from the pack. I am always faster to head to a website if Ian's work is up. I was pleasantly surprised to see Ian feature in the Radgepacket anthology whilst I was searching for one of my favorite writers. I say surprised but I think the word I mean is happy as it was another reason to buy the book. I've downloaded this book and made short work of it. It was nice to see some old favorites along with a few I hadn't seen before.

I'd recommend this to anyone and am looking forward to seeing Ian's first novel out this year too.

I read this book in one sitting. Loved all of the short stories and felt they were so well written. This has quickly become my new favourite collection of shorts. From the quite disturbing 'Uncle Mildred' To 'Hard Times' which had me in tears and 'Cold' where I HAVE to find out what was in the suitcases, I found that each story grabbed my attention right from the get go!
A book that I would recommend to everyone (well not everyone, as it is most definitely not for children or the faint hearted!!)

What a funny 15 short stories. It had me giggling at the antics of these poor unfortunate people and what they got up to. A good read and can't wait to read his 1st novel out soon.
