Book Description

**Warning: This book is a wild, sexy beast of a read. 18+**

Putting a woman on her knees before me is what really makes my cock hard. I fuck with dominant force and absolute control. I demand complete surrender from my conquests.

Savage man, loner, warrior… I am dangerous at my core. I have lived amidst the untamed wild of the rainforest, in a society that reveres me and where every woman falls before me in subjugation.

Now I’ve been discovered. Forced to return to a world that I have forgotten about and to a culture that is only vaguely familiar to my senses.

Dr. Moira Reed is an anthropologist who has been hired to help me transition back into modern society. It’s her job to smooth away my rough edges… to teach me how to navigate properly through this new life of mine. She wants to tame me.

She’ll never win.

I am wild, free and raw, and the only thing I want from the beautiful Moira Reed is to fuck her into submission.

She wants it, I am certain.

I will give it to her soon.

Yes, very soon, I will become the teacher and she will become my student. And when I am finished showing her body pleasure like no other, she’ll know what it feels like to be claimed by an uncivilized man.

While Tarzan swings, hollering, through the lianas Zach Easton
returns, gloriously naked, from a hunting trip. He throws a haunch of tapir on the cooking fire then relieves the stresses of the day by performing totally animalistic sexual coupling with a young woman of the tribe he has known as family since his parents died eighteen years before.

His actions are watched closely, purely from a scientific viewpoint, by anthropologist Moira Reed who has been sent to accompany Zach home to the USA, a country he last saw when he was seven years old.

I have only recently become acquainted with Sawyer Bennett's books but she has quickly made it to my favourite authors list. Previously read books have been great. None of them prepared me for this.

Uncivilized must be the hottest, sexiest book I have read. I have read books with so many pointless sex scenes that I have skipped over them to get to the story. This is NOT one of them even though it is bursting with graphic scenes of wild coupling. Zach is a quick learner. Once taught to use a computer there is nothing he can't learn thanks to Google and YouTube. Moira helps him put his learning into practice.

I would be doing the author a disservice leaving at that. An enormous amount of research has gone into this book. The geographical information about the Amazon and the anthropological details about the indigenous people are not just dropped in to get the word count up.

Sawyer Bennett couldn't just write an HEA. As I reached a lovely, happy place in the book she showed her power as an author. As I screamed No, No, No at my kindle my husband said "good book?"

Yes, it is a good book. If you like your romance books a little risque this is not the book for you. If you prefer something that gives you hot flashes while you visualise yourself with an incredible, beautiful, hunk of alpha male settle back for the roller coaster ride of your life.

2.0 out of 5 stars not for me 10 Sept. 2014

Uncivilized, Sawyer Bennett
Review from jeannie zelos book reviews

Back in the seventies one of my favourite sit coms was the wonderful Yes Minister...and I can remember Sir Humphrey Appleby saying to the Minister something along the lines of "very brave approach Minster" in his obsequious voice, when he didn't like what the Minster was suggesting.....hoping that would change his mind as standing out wasn't what the Minster wanted to do. Bad for the vote, putting oneself in the public eye.
What's that go to do with this book you ask? Well, Sawyer has written many well loved, best selling books, and it would be easy to go on with the same tried and trusted approach, but she's bravely tried something new, something out of the current mould of Rich Billionaire heroes and underdog heroines. How has it played out for me?
I'd love to say the book is wonderful...I'd really love to write that- I've read several from her now and most have been five stars but this one...sorry but for me its just too unrealistic, not that the pauper and prince/billionaire and underdog usual theme is realistic, but this was a step too far for me.
Why didn't it work? well, Zach spent his first seven years in US brought up like most other kids, then the next 18 in the Amazon brought up by a tiny group of natives, and only speaking English with a visiting Priest every few months...and yet he takes to Western life so quickly, can speak fluently and intelligently, read books and papers, isn't phased by modern technology even though they had none in the Amazon...he takes to the internet within a couple of hours of instruction, and within two weeks seems like he's been in Us all his life. He uses slang like its been his everyday speech for years, even at moments of high emotion like his climax.

4.0 out of 5 stars Woo *fans self* lots of sexy times in this 4 Oct. 2014
Format:Kindle Edition
Originally published at Rookie Romance.

I was thoroughly entranced with the idea of this book from the moment I read the blurb. It's got that Tarzan vibe going which I loved and I'm pretty sure I've never read anything similar before. Plus, it sounded all kinds of crazy hot. So it was definitely something I wanted to get my greedy little paws on.

Moira is thrilled when she's contacted by Randall Cannon and given the opportunity to help bring back a young man who has been raised by an Amazonian tribe, and she is to aid him in his acclimatisation to the modern American world. She's so excited by the possibilities for research that this endeavour will provide, but what she didn't expect was to be highly attracted to the untamed man that she meets. Moira is intelligent and independent. I loved that she could stand her ground against Zach, even in the face of his blatant sexuality.

Zach was just....hummina hummina hummina. He's sex on a stick, no doubt about it. He's wild and uncivilised, and confident in his own skin. He doesn't want to leave the tribe and only does so at the urging of his adoptive father, fully intending to return before too long. He's particularly resentful and angry towards Moira at first because she represents Randall, his godfather who has organised the mission to bring Zach back. As they spend more time together though, his resentment ebbs and in its wake the force of his attraction to Moira becomes more and more evident. I loved that even though Zach is this fearless, self-assured man, he can also be vulnerable. He's confused about his feelings about both Moira and where he belongs.

There is a LOT of hot, hot sexy times in this book. Maybe a bit too much...? If that's possible.
