I first came across this book whilst writing an essay entitled 'Governments only mobilised support because they controlled the media. Discuss this in the case of Vietnam.' It is a fresh apprioach, which doesn't just agree with the old arguement of the US using the media, but analyses how, and why, and also puts forward ways in which the government couldn't use the media and were restricted. Also an excellent read.
