I was gifted this book by the author for an honest review.
First off let me say this, I love a well written book about the struggle between good vs. evil. We all have our demons that we fight everyday, some days more than others.
I had to read the first two books before I could read this one and give my review. These are some pretty great books. It's very easy to like the characters and want everything to turn out great for them no matter what they're going through. At times you will think a situation is a bit far fetched but just remember this is a story about gifted teens finding a strong bond between each other and fighting in the fight against evil in order to save others. Fighting can be so tiring and at times they just want to give up and try living a normal life. Well, that would be ideal, for them to live as normal teenagers, but they aren't normal. They've been gifted abilities to assist them with the ongoing fight.
Even without having special gifts we are a part of a daily fight between good and evil and even the smallest decision matters. It's a tiring struggle and sometimes giving in to what is easier is more appealing but it isn't always what is right. No matter how tired these characters got they still fought for what they believed to be right and they will always fight to protect the world they live in. I felt this was a wonderful series to show a daily struggle. It may not seam realistic at times but if you think about it you will see the truth behind the story. If nothing else give the first book a read and decide then if you want to continue reading the others.
