Mechanically, it's not machined from solid. but instead rolled from sheet material, therefore what you might call light duty.
The spring contact on the RCA socket is nice and firm, and although difficult to see, appears to be copper colour, not even brass and not plated.
It hasn't seemed to have tarnished though.
It works and it's cheap.
