Product Description

One of the most controversial martial arts movies ever - Mat Fraser plays an expert in Kung Fu whose wife is shot and his child kidnapped, but they were messing with the wrong man. A strong cast including Terry Stone (Rise Of The Footsoldier/Doghouse), Faye Tozer (Steps) and Frank Harper (Lock Stock & Two Smoking Barrels/The Football Factory) give sterling performances in this dark, violent movie, with no holding back, Unarmed But Dangerous delivers in all ways - if you like violence, blood, guts and, then you will love the Unarmed But Dangerous . Definitely not for the faint hearted, women or children, be warned, this film pulls no punches!!!

I enjoy a decent revenge movie with decent martial artistry in fight scenes, but this makes the worst Bruce Lee wannabes look like Oscar-winning masterpieces. Seriously, the fight scenes are trite, the "acting" largely consists of people yelling, F-ing and blinding a lot and we even get the supposed delight of hearing the former Steps singer Faye Tozer swearing like a trooper (she even says the dreaded C-word at one point -- couldn't be further removed from the squeaky-clean Faye from the five-piece pop band many people once loved!).

Yes, it is shockingly violent and bloody, with some seriously disturbing moments, but the whole thing is so bad that even if this was only 1p it wouldn't even be worth purchasing. In fact, it's so terrible that I recommend that you don't even rent it, let alone buy it. It's one thing to watch a British movie and support local film-making, but if you want to watch a decent British revenge movie, then something like "Harry Brown" is far more accomplished and worthwhile.

What a load of cr@p! 18 Oct 2009
Format:DVD
Oh My God! Whoever that was who reviewed this film and gave it 5 stars was either part of the production or marketing team or an 8 year old!. This was poor to say the least, one of the worst films I've ever watched! The acting was lame, most violent film ever - errrr I don't think so and the fight scenes were a joke. Pathetic. I should have been paid to watch this, it was utter tosh! I should have realised when I found out the bird from steps was in it playing an old cheese!!!! Says it all really. I don't normally write a review but I'm trying to warn everyone out there not to waste their money as the other review is VERY misleading!

Not even funny... 31 July 2010

This film had a very unique angle to approach from, and could have gone down one of two ways...Well rehearsed drama, or tasteless comedy. unfortunately, it did neither. The acting is utterly dire. The story is very very weak, and none if the drama is even remotely believable. The combat scenes almost raised a titter, but really, this was totally not what I hoped for, expected, or wanted to pay for. Don't do it, it isn't what you think...
