These two are the sharpest minds in the business. If you know nothing about the Umbilical Brothers and aren't sure if they're funny or not, watch this show for a mere ten minutes. No seriously, it makes Peter Kay and Billy Connolly look like total amateurs! I bought this from Australia when it was first released there, and I've had grown men crying with laughter at these fine ozzie chaps!
Like a combination of the Reduced Shakespeare Company, Charlie Chaplin and Bill Bailey all rolled into one show, it is pure insane mindless no-need-to-think hilarity. Guaranteed to make anyone chuckle.

This DVD had my family and I laughing our heads off for an entire evening and I've since watched it again several times with various friends! Shane and Dave - the Umbilical Brothers have incredible acting and "microphone mime" skills so that even though they have only one prop - a small green board stood upright - you can really see exactly what is going on through their actions and sound effects. Not only is the main feature a hoot, but the DVD is packed with a ton of extra stuff, you can watch the three DVD menus for quite some time as each menu has several small, cleverly filmed sketches as a backdrop. The Extras contain a load of extra footage from them and the Extra Extras menu leads you to even more stuff they're bunged in there! Well worth the small amount I paid for it! My only criticism to the Umbilical Brothers is that this is the only one of their DVD's available for purchase outside of New Zealand.

Wonderful dvd. The umbilical brothers are really talented and incredibly entertaining. One has no idea what is to come next and the surprices are always epic funny. Don't miss out on this show! These two geniouses offer one and a half hour of unique entertainment. And they don't even use props! only your imagination, and live sounds they produce themselves
