Ultrasport Arm and Leg Trainer Mini Bike MB 50

Smart and efficient training ideas for at home. Small footprint and low carry weight for optimised storability. The Minibike is the perfect choice for small livingrooms, and a good alternative for big training machines or an actual bicycle.

It can be easily used while seated (even on the sofa), which means you can train while watching TV. The Minibike addresses the same muscle groups as a bicycle, and is therefore ideally suited for daily training of the leg or even the arm muscles and adjacent body regions. It is well suited for physiotherapy exercises and for maintaining a healthy strong body in older people.

    Ideal for Training at Home

Cycling is an easy and joint-friendly option for targeted muscle building in arms and legs. Adjacent body areas, like the chest and back also benefit from the stress-free exercises. Cycling is a great option for strengthening the heart and circulatory system. This Ultrasport home trainer brings the healthy exercise of cycling into the comfort of your livingroom. This practical training device can be used for leg and arm training.

I bought this for my mother who needs an operation on her knee. She is unable to put any weight on her knee and so she is very limited as to the range of exercise she can do. However, this mini bike is great as she can exercise whilst sat in her armchair watching telly! It is easy to use, has different tension levels and does not take up lots of room.

Just got one of these Mini Bikes and for the last few days have been using 2 or 3 times daily for half an hour. I'm no spring chicken any more, so it's a great way of getting some energy going and so flexible to use. Foot pedalling from a seated position or arm rotating on the desk or table. Beats walking in the rain, and a welcome addition even in the sun....

I bought this for my husband who suffers from severe COPD. He is unable to do any normal excerise and this has enabled him to start slowly. He has been encouraged to use this every day and slowly build up his very weak legs.

I use it to regain leg use since I have MS. After few sessions I have noticed improvement in body warmth, toe movement , leg mobility. It is an excellent rehab aid.

This would be a really good idea for people who want an exercise bike but are short on space. I have a full size exercise bike too and this has exactly the same functions and display (calories, time, speed etc) as the full bike, so if I do need the extra space at some point I will probably get rid of the bike and just use this, although I think if you want to use it for a long time like one hours cycle it is more comfortable on a proper full size bike. This mini bike is very handy if you feel like you should do some exercise but at the same time you are feeling a bit lazy, so you can do some low level exercise while sitting on the comfy sofa watching tv. I used 200 calories pretty much effortlessly while just watching Graham Norton so that has got to be a good result.
It requires a small amount of assembly but its only screwing the pedals and feet on, which took under 5 minutes so that was fine.
I don't think this mini bike will give a full work out or lead to a great weightloss without other exercise and diet combined, but for what it is, it is a really good product. I think it will be easy to multitask with it like pedaling while on a laptop or even while sitting feeding babies, or anything else as its quite small and portable. I have so far only used while watching tv but I will be trying it out at different times to see if I can get the maximum use of exercising while doing other things, as it all adds up

Overall a good machine for the price, so long as you don't expect too much. I haven't had the problems with the pressure screw not working. It worked fine for me...until it snapped completely! So only 2 stars for poor quality control. Sent it back for a refund but I shall be buying another one. It does have a 2 year guarantee after all.
Update...Got a new one which so far after 6 months is working fine. Quality control poor but if it breaks then back it goes. Don't expect too much for this price but it's used every day for 45 minutes and seems to be surviving.

This is a great piece of kit or anyone interested in some light exercise cycling. It's very simple to setup (it comes with a small spanner and an allen key for this purpose) and is small enough to store away neatly in a cupboard, but is too tall to store under a bed.

The display is clear, features distance, revolutions and calories burned, and the unit is easy to operate as there is only one button, which resets the display back to zero. There is also a screw on the front of the unit, enabling you to make it harder or easier to cycle by giving less or more resistance to the turning of the pedals.

I've been using the unit for about three weeks now, and am very pleased with it. I can't imagine it would give you a very hard workout, for those who are already very fit. But for those couch potatoes amongst us it's a great way to get some exercise while remaining in front of the television!

Too light, too small,Rubber feet not adequate enough to support anything other than very slow pedalling.Rubber feet will not hold on wood flooring,or even on carpet, without the machine moving about.Needs both sets of feet to be bigger to support the motion of the machine, and the rubber feet to be much more substantial.
