The UltraDisk® DVR7 digital voice recorder has three recording modes ( LP 32 Kbps / SP 128 Kbps / HP 192 Kbps) Default to HP sound recording files are saved as "mp3" format which can be played back on the computer directly using the USB data transfer. MP3 is the ideal recording format if you want to create audio cd's, edit or to upload as podcast ready mp3 files.
The UltraDisk® DVR7 has an incredible 2GB or 140 hours total recording capability on the black slim line with attractive large LCD green back light. This is not only a stylish digital audio recording device but also gives you full data transfer access to store documents, spreadsheets, images & more using the built in USB memory.

The manufacturer can make the description clearer though as I wasn't 100% sure all these ext mic, telephone recorder are included as while they are shown in the picture, the description does not say they are included (but it is in the package).
Also, the manual missed out some details, e.g. where to put the music file. The MP3 files should be put in the root folder and it would work. For recording, the files are stored in a Record\LP / SP etc folders.
The CD setup software that install the ACT converter, audacity software is a bit funny. On autorun, it just takes me to the website to download the software again rather than installing the software on the disk (it is on the CD).
The MP3 player function allows a song to be paused but not to fwd/rew, which is a slight downside.
Overall - great stuff and good value for moeny.
