5.0 out of 5 stars Great stuff! 9 Jun 2011

This product is fantastic. I don't often leave feedback, but there aren't many consumer reviews about Hifloat and I would have found them useful. We managed to fill 100 12" balloons (one pump per balloon) and our trial balloon is still on the kitchen ceiling after inflating it on 01/06/11. It advertises that it lasts 1-4 weeks... 8 days and counting, we'll wait and see!

4.0 out of 5 stars Works as Promised 22 Jun 2011
Very straightforward to use: one squirt per balloon just before you put in the helium. Our balloons have so far lasted several days. The only query is whether you really need or want your helium balloons to last that long if you're inflating them just before a party: in that case a few hours might be enough.

5.0 out of 5 stars Fantastic! 16 Feb 2012
Durability: 3.0 out of 5 stars    Educational: 2.0 out of 5 stars    Fun: 2.0 out of 5 stars
Rarely do I feel the need to add my voicing to a review, but this is such a great product I thought it worth the effort.

I ordered this product to help with the longevity of my daughters "bog standard" latex Birthday Balloons, thinking it would give me an extra day or 2 of "party fever". That was 2 weeks ago and they are still up!

It was used in conjunction with a disposable Helium canister. I know from past experience that latex balloons lose their helium within 24 hours if not treated, so to still have ours floating after 14 days is truly amazing.

Fantastic product - well worth the added pennies it adds per balloon.

3.0 out of 5 stars Better than I thought 21 Mar 2011
Durability: 3.0 out of 5 stars    Educational: 3.0 out of 5 stars    Fun: 3.0 out of 5 stars
I tried this product on the helium balloon and it lasted 2-3days, whereas I tried one without the treatment and it only lasted 5hrs 25mins, so I would defo recommend it to others, who wants there balloons deflating half way through your function.

3.0 out of 5 stars surprisingly longer 24 Feb 2013
Amazon Verified Purchase
My balloon with Ultra Hi-float has still been floating for about twenty days, but people who want to buy this product with clear balloon need to be aware that the liquid will create a matte-white surface on the balloons, so the clear balloons will no longer be "clear" after the Hi-float's applied for a few days.

1.0 out of 5 stars All hot air 28 April 2012
By KM HALL OF FAME TOP 10 REVIEWER
I bought this stuff to use on the balloons I'm doing for my lovely other half's 50th birthday do.Hi-Float is a thick gelatinous plastic solution contained in a pump action bottle. You are advised to place the neck of your balloon over the spout and pump some solution into the balloon. This will enable your Helium balloon to stay afloat longer!Or will it?. . .I've tested it out :)I used some of the balloons I've bought for the party and they are good quality latex.I checked the MSDS (material safety data sheet) info out for this stuff and it appears pretty safe chemical-wise and non hazardous to humans. The main ingredients are-water, polyvynil alcohol and dextrose monohydrate.I filled one balloon with the treatment like so. . .put the nozzle as deep inside the balloon as possible so as to keep the neck dry, it could drip out and cover your helium gas bottle valve whilst filling with gas and your hands. Once in the balloon you are advised to rub the bulb part of the balloon around to spread the gel inside. You have to pinch the neck of the balloon as you remove the nozzle to clean the nozzle into the balloon and so non drips out. Then fill your balloon with helium. Now handtie your balloon. Helium balloon valves are no good with this stuff at all. now your balloon is done.I tested this against another balloon which I prepared like so. . .I filled it with Helium and tied it off! :)Err. . .12 hours later both were still up and 16 hours later the helium only one was still up and the treated one was erm. . .err. . .ooo. . .mmm. . . .down! Dooby doo down down, staying up is hard to do! (In the words of Neil Sedaka!)It says in the instructions to allow the Hi-float to dry for a few hours before moving the ballons to a location where the balloons may burst and the wet Hi-Float could cause damage!...
