The UltimateAddons mobile holder with swivel air vent attachment for Apple iPhone 4 / 4G is designed to hold many other mobile devices. Why have several mounts in your vehicle when you only need one? This bundle consists of 2 parts;
1 - UltimateAddons Universal Mobile HolderThe UltimateAddons universal holder can mount devices with width between 40 - 88mm and height of 65mm or higher. The arms of the mount are lined with a strong foam material offering excellent protection to the device, and reduces vibrations when moving. The 2 spring loaded arms squeeze together to lock around the device. The holder has a quick release button on the back of the mount which unlocks the arms. At the base of the mount there are two small feet which flip out, if not required they sit discreetly integrated into the holder.
2 - UltimateAddons Swivel Vent Attachment
The UltimateAddons Swivel Vent Mount can be easily mounted to most vehicle air vent. The arms of the swivel vent are spring loaded, ensuring the mount fits and sits securely on the air vent of the vehicle. The springs are easily pushed back allowing you to release the mount from the vent. There is also a support arm at the base of the mount which can be used to angle the holder for better viewing.

I have found that, in general, items which connect to the air vents wobble and do not fit very securely; this item however is fantastic - because the legs that go into the vent are spring-mounted, they fit to your own car's air vents perfectly, and do not move as you are driving along. I bought this for my iPhone4, but as soon as I fitted it in the car, went back onto Amazon and ordered a further one in which to place my iPod. In all, an excellent item.

The holder does everything it is supposed to do - no complaints there - but it does seem vastly overpriced.
It is a basic, light plastic item which feels like it could fall apart in your hands relatively easily.
I decided to look at a well known internet action site for a similar product and ordered another holder out of curiosity for less than a third of the price (including postage). No difference in quality and gets the job done equally well.

I have a car in which the vents are very sloped, so was having trouble finding a holder for my iphone4s. This holder fits the vents perfectly, and holds my phone very securely without me having to take it out of its rubber case. Using my phone as my GPS now, and the mount is far less intrusive than the Tomtom mount. Only slight niggle which I didnt notice is the inside of the mount is white and my dashboard is black, so when the phone isn't in it's mount it stand out a bit. Other than that it's perfect.
