Did work with a smaller older key, so seems to depend on the format/size and usb key speed.
More a tablet / android computability issue , than the cable itself which probably works fine.
Adjusted my rating to reflect..

An excellent idea. If you use the Samsung branded USB adaptor with a USB memory stick attached you have a "solid" item that sticks out some 10cm from your Galaxy tab - a certain invitation for it to come into contact with something very solid and be broken! This bit of kit gives you flexibility as it has a cable between the plug into the Galaxy and whatever you are connecting to it.

Not sure if adaptor works with my datastick and Galaxy Tab. Willl have to buy a 2nd stick to test adaptor again.
