This book is a very nice companion to his Ultimate Weight Loss Solution as I was stuck when it came to preparing meals. The recipes were easy to follow and tasty. I'd also like to add Dr. Phil by no means trys to sell himself as a wonder product and his philosophy is very simple which includes cutting down processed foods, exercising, and any one who has read his Ultimate Weight Loss Solution (which by some reviews is obvious they haven't) knows he makes it clear there is a psychological side to weight loss and not some magic cure. The cookbook is not a weight plan, it is a part of his plan. And if you buy the cookbook, you really should look into his Solution and Food Guide. And in my own opinion, don't judge a book by it's cover. Yes, he is a big man at 6'1" but by no means is he overweight.
