High quality MMA guide,
By T. Bently "tbently" (Berkshire, England) - See all my reviews (TOP 1000 REVIEWER) (VINE VOICE) (REAL NAME)
This review is from: Ultimate Warrior Workouts (Training for Warriors): Fitness Secrets of the Martial Arts (Paperback)
After years of poor quality martial arts guides with fuzzy (or non-existant) pictures, it's a relief that a new generation of books has arrived, making full use of modern colour photography. All the moves and drills here are accompanied by large photos and includes a lot of exercises (such as neck ones) which you wouldn't usually find. There are separate sections for boxing, judo, wrestling and karate drills. Overall this is a large, good-value book for MMA fighters looking for sport-specific training hints to improve their match stamina.

Good Stuff.,

This review is from: Ultimate Warrior Workouts (Training for Warriors): Fitness Secrets of the Martial Arts (Paperback)
If you train then there is not much new here, but an interesting book with ideas from around the world, I was interested to see how combat systems I am not familiar with train. well written and good pictures, I picked up a few ideas. If you are new to training and don't get the chance to train at a club then this book and Martin's other one are great starting points on combat specific conditioning.
