Guitar stands come in a variety of shapes and styles and all have advantages and disadvantages. I chose this one for it's relatively high spec, primarily because it claims to be 'universal' and suitable for any guitar. Unfortunately this is not the case as the support arms are not adjustable meaning that it is NOT SUITABLE for non standard shaped guitars such as Firebird/Explorer shaped guitars. I can't use this for my Thunderbird bass but it works fine with my Fender Precision. I do like the way the legs lock into position and a built in plectrum holder is a good idea, it's a shame that the latter is not well implemented, it's very easy to knock pics off the stand when handling the guitar.

This stand is badly designed. The bottom parts are covered with felt where they touch the guitar to make them safe for all finish types.

Unfortunately, the part that holds the neck is fitted with very grippy rubber, which means that small scratches are put on the neck of the instrument each time it is removed. The neck of my guitar has gone quite hazy, and I only had it a week before noticing the problem and returning the stand.

A great shame, as the stand is otherwise fine.

No issues with this. Good quality, incredibly easy to set up and good protection for the guitar.
The pick holders are a nice touch too

I love it. It folds down easily does the business. I am on my third one now. Not because they break but because I keep buying more guitars. Can't wait to buy my forth.
