This is is Ana Brett's personal favourite in the series. It is easy to understand why. There are two sets of really good stretching postures that can either be done separately (via the handy Matrix menu!) or together. If you are tight in your hamstrings and inner thighs (which many people, myself included, are) then Ultimate Stretch is your friend for life. Every time I do this one, I feel a particularly good sense of release in these areas and can recommend this to anyone, irrespective of their flexibility. There is also a good breathing exercise that is alleged to prevent irritability and is very simple to do. The effects of this are especially calming. Finally, there is a brief mantra at the end. The whole DVD is only 60 minutes long, so it can be easier to fit in than the longer editions in this series for the time challenged.
I cannot recommend this DVD enough. The improvements to my hamstrings and hips has been remarkable, and I've only been using Ultimate Stretch for about 2 months. I also feel that things that used to make me short fused have also subsided.
There are also some intermediate poses (e.g plough) and even some advanced ones (e.g. wheel - modified version for me on this one!) so it is good for all levels of yogi, as modifications are offered and a chance to push yourself is allowed for those who feel ready.
In summary, if you want a jolly good stretch (from having a difficulty touching one's toes to being a self-confessed human pretzel!), then buy this. It will be money well spent!
