Gina Baily is at one of the famous Cosimo restaurants providing practical and moral support to her friend the newly appointed manager. She suddenly spots Lanzo di Cosimo amongst the crowd the owner of the worldwide chain of Cosimo restaurants. Ten years when she was eighteen and working as a waitress for Cosimo she had fallen in love with this handsome Italian millionaire, but after a few short weeks he broke it off returning to Italy, leaving Gina heartbroken,but that was ten years ago since then she had been married and divorced. Lanzo spots Gina across the room but does not immediately recognise her. Approaching the beautiful woman he intends to get to know, his memory tugs at him. Later in the evening he waits for Gina to leave and approach her by this time he has remembered the eighteenvyear old girl he had bedded ten years ago. She has now blossomed into a beautiful woman whom he intends to have again. But Gina is wary of Lanzo she has her own demons and is not so trusting and open as she once was. Lanzo has his own bad memories and regrets from his own past and is only looking for something temporary, but Gina is not prepared to do what Lanzo wants.this was an okay but very predictable read, the two lead characters were likeable, Lanzo does not do love, he never wants to feel that emotion again. Gina having been in love with Lanzo at eighteen is not prepared to give way to her feelings for him.

Harlequin lovers, buy this book!

If you like Harlequin books, this one is a definite winner. It's not your typical "She's pregnant, he forces her to marry him, and then treats her like crap but really loves her but must treat her like crap until she learns some kind of lesson" Harlequin novel that they've been overproducing in the last few years. I don't really pick up these kinds of books unless I want a few hours of fluff to read and this one did it for me. Often times I'm left wondering why I even waste my money on Harlequin novels anymore - usually the same formula over and over again - but this one proved that Harlequin still has some decent writers out there.

It was an ok book. I kinna feel not much for the book, either good or bad. It took me a while to read it. It had a very boring beginning.
