For the truly health conscious, nutritional information is given not only for individual pieces of fruit, but also for every recipe.
Most of the basic recipes have only one or two ingredients, which means that if you fancy a glass of juice, the chances are there will be something in the fruit bowl and vegetable rack that can be combined into a tasty drink.
Not only are there recipes for non-alcoholic and alcoholic drinks, but a number of ideas for garnishes to impress your friends at a cocktail party for when you really get into juicing!
On the down side (for a Brit at least) having been written by an American citizen, many of the measurements are given in cups, but there is a conversion guide at the back of the book.
This is one of the few recipe books I have come across that considers the single consumer in that most recipes are for one serving.
Finally, the slim design of this volume means it will definitely be kept on hand in the kitchen and not be consigned to the bookcase to gather dust.
Definitely worth getting if you take your juicing seriously.
