I bought this book as a step towards improving my overall physical conditioning for golf.

What I was expecting is a series of golf specific exercises that I could include into my standard gym workout, but what you get instead is basically just a basic gym programme that most gyms will provide you for free..

The beginning of the book has a few pages "dedicated" to golf, but the rest appears to be just a carbon copy of the other books in this series - Ultimate Guide to Weight Training for Soccer/Running/Tennis/etc/etc

If you didn't know that doing a bench press for example would increase your chest strength, then this book is may be useful, but I'm guessing that there are far better generic weight programmes available on Amazon.

This book is a useful generic fitness book. Do not be fooled into thinking this is a specific guide to carefully considered golf muscles. As a general guide it's useful but I have those, and expected something different given the write up.

Ideal book for any committed golfer as it gives you a complete guide to off season, pre season and during season fitness program. If you follow this book you will be fitter, stronger and smashing it longer.

The information in this book is very basic re off/ pre and in season training, at one point in this book they forget they are talking about golf and mention a different sport. If you are interested in weight training then this book contains specific workout routines, obviously the writers are not experienced golf professionals and should stick to their day job. Much better golf conditioning books out there.
