I first came across this at Heathrow Terminal 5 last November, and thought a good magazine was just what I was after. What I didn't realise was that this wasn't your run of the mill photography magazine with biased product reviews and opinions, but a step by step guide on how to improve the different types fo shots you may want to take, such as landscape, night, sunsets etc.
This could be the best resource to buy a first time SLR user, as it explains the basics easily, but also other features such as bracketing and exposure compensation in a clear manner. I've even gone so far as to give away my original copy to a friend, and bought myself a new one!!
When they say 'Ultimate' guide, the sure weren't kidding.

Was disappointed in my purchase as I thought I was purchasing a hard backed gift for Christmas. Instead the book was like an expensive magazine. I had to rush out and buy something else.

Found - Digital Photo Info. for a Great Price!!

A friend told me she had purchased this book. I briefly paged through it and decided it would be a good resource. However, when I checked with the supplier, no copies were available. I gave up the search until recently, skimming websites. Amazon had the book listed, but it would ship from England. Needless to say, the price including shipping was a bargain price compared to what my friend paid, plus it arrived sooner than expected. I have not finished reading it, but am happy to know I found a great deal!!
