A great family quiz 23 Nov 2006
I played this quiz with my kids and members of my extended family - all ages - and was very impressed with the content and format. The questions for young children were spot on and they get slightly longer to answer them, so my kids (5 and 7) had just as much chance of winning as the adults and older children playing. This kept them interested, which was a Godsend. The quiz has over 2000 questions which come up at random and the subject matter deals with just about everything, so nobody gets bored - quite a feat for a room of 10 or so people. All in all it does exactly what it says on the tin!

Good for kids 17 Nov 2007
By Jazzy
FOR: This is quite a pleasant game worth buying if there are young children wanting to play with the family. The questions for under 7's and 8+ are graded well and this was the reason I purchased the game. The DVD is easy to navigate.

AGAINST: The graphics are a bit cheesy, the dog barking after each correct answer can get a bit irritating (though you can always lower the volume) and the questions repeat themselves too quickly. We played five games with two teams and ten questions per team. In this short time, we got several duplicated questions. We played the under 7's version once and within the space of 10 questions got "on which part of the body would you wear a bangle?" and "on which part of the body would you wear a bracelet?" with similar answers. The questions are not read out and you have to read the question, decide on the answer, navigate to the correct answer and press enter all in about 12 seconds or you get a "Sorry, out of time" message. You don't get told the answer and the question will come out again.

SUMMARY: I would buy this for kids or to play with kids. If you want a game for adults, I prefer something like Who wants to be a millionaire? or Family Fortunes.

Annoyingly, this DVD has never managed to complete a round without erroring out, so I'm afraid it's only 1 star. Hopefully, it's just my particular disc and not a design fault...
