I have purchased cycling guides before relating to Sustrans routes, but this one appeared almost as basic as the Sustran maps themselves. Sure. it gave some details on the route, and the names of various guest houses and places en route, but no real details of what to do or see - the sort of booklet you might be able to knock out in a day or so with an internet connection and a few pictures of the route. Save your money and go with the Sustrans map, and a search of tellow pages online!

A mild curiosity was that the book contained an advert saying "View Devon coast to Coast with Memory Map Sorftware". Memory Map does some excellent cycle route maps, but, strangely, not one for the Devon Coast to Coast...
