An anthology of detonator cap short stories to set you off on a burst of hot, panting, frankly disturbing sexual intemperance. --Mil Millington, author and journalist

Product Description

Ultimate Decadence is an anthology of 30 erotic stories on the theme of decadence from best-selling authors including Karen Krizanovich, Suzanne Portnoy, Maxim Jakubowski and Elizabeth Coldwell. Every aspect of decadent sexual excess is explored, from Bloomsbury-set inspired debauched romps to romantically naughty tales full of roses and champagne, diamonds and Venetian masks.

More naughty shorties! 26 July 2010
Format:Paperback|Amazon Vine™ Review (What's this?)
Another set of short sensual stories guaranteed to have you wanting more! All well written with intelligence to appeal to the more discerning female reader, but with enough graphic full blown content to staisfy the hungrier males! (my hubby loved them too!). Great if you are in the mood for some fun, but dont want to have to read a full novel, these can vary from 5 to 15 minutes, so one or two at a time is just perfect! Leave it under your "normal" read for when you fancy something a bit different! Definately a go to read when feeling in the mood.

Ooo, I say! 13 April 2010

I ordered this, partially as a joke, and partially to spice up the bedroom lives of a middle-aged couple. The first part worked, as the good lady had quite a laugh about it, and the second part is ongoing.... ;p

Some great erotic writing, some bits that made us laugh, and some descriptions that made us both cringe, all adding up to an enjoyable read. I wouldn't leave it on the coffee table when you have visitors, though.....

By Susan Belcher TOP 50 REVIEWER

There are 30 short stories within 237 pages of the book. Most of the stories are around the 2 or 3 page length, really too short to build up the necessary involvement of the reader.

I realise that with these stories being so short that they must get to the "action" quickly, but the authors should realise that there is no eroticism in the description of an intimate physical sexual act with no emotion just mechanical action and a number of expletives.

In any book there must be a connection between reader and characters in order for the reader to get involved in the story. This is an incredibly important factor with erotic writings, where the reader is depending on the skill of the writer as describer to add the emotion and sensation required to draw them in to the story. It was this skill that was lacking from all these stories.

To be perfectly honest I've seen more eroticism in my grandmother's old Mills and Boon books and they were from the 1970s. If they had averaged out the pages to the 7/8 pages (which each story might have had if the pages had been divided up equally) then there would have been the opportunity to build up the necessary connection between characters and reader, but as it stands, there was an opportunity which was not taken.

As eroticism goes this was the ultimate disappointment, it was so boring that it could turn you celibate.
