This is another typical compilation. All the usual recordings that the publisher can get cheap and we've seen on so many other compilations. Some good songs on there but ultimate - really? I don't think so......

Ok, I admit, I got this album from Amazon because the price was good, but, and it is a big but, there are some tracks (Johhny B Good, Walk the Line) which I would not class as Blues.
There are other, better compilations out there, and really more fool me for buying this.
It isn't 'ultimate' and it certainly isn't all Blues.

Ultimate Bluesgreat classic tracks from the old days but what is Johnny Cash and Diana Washington doing on an album of blues ???

If you like the blues then this will suit you well. Great in the car for the long journey's or just chillin' out at home. Highly recommended.
