I own all four animated Marvel movies (Iron Man - Dr. Strange - Avengers) and this one is the best by far ! Not only does it move on from explaining the origin of each superheroe like the others -which of course was a necessary thing to do since not everyone is a Marvel connaisseur - it also teams up the avengers in a smashing way for non-stop action ! Pity they had to kill one the minor charachters at the end but it did give it a dramatic turn one wouldn't expect from these kind of non-rated films.
The animation is near-perfect, razor-sharp picture, great colors and all and the sound, if lacking a little bottom end for the sound effects like explosions, gunshots , thuds and thumps on the 2.0 mix is superb anyway, and mega-loud to boot !
Please Marvel Studios keep pumping these highly collectable little pieces of animated superheroe-action !!!

If you liked Ultimate Avengers, then you'll like this and... the Hulk (thankfully) isn't in it.
Apart from the artists messing with the characters costumes (Capt America has no wings on his cowl, or a scaled blue shirt and Black Panther is... curious, but cool? hmm), apart from that it is a pretty good watch and highly recommended for any comic book fan.
Probably a grown up "big kid" movie than a children's movie, so parents might want to vet it first, but in summary...
Great movie, enjoyed it a lot, might watch it again.

I bought this film after watching the first one. I did enjoy the story and it was nice to see the characters had grown as a team since the first film.
For the 2nd film to make sense and to get the complete experience I do recommend buying the first film.
If you want some giggles then watch the extras. The search for a voice extra had my partner laughing her head off, I dont mean clean off but she was laughing for a bit.
Great film, great animation and a must have for marvel fans.

Ultimate Avengers 2 DVD
This DVD is great would defiantly recommend to children or adults alike, the story contuines on from the first Avengers movie so would recommend seeing that first.

Needed more Hulk
