If only I could sing,

Teamed up with some karaoke software and an audio cable for the laptop, this product made a great present for my flatmate (and for me). We spend evenings singing along to karaoke tracks we find on the internet and to mp3s on the pc. We have not yet connected this item to a dvd or cd player but despite the minimal instructions included it's not too difficult to figure out which lead goes where. What i like is the versatility, the mixer is basic but works well, the supplied leads are adequate and because they are standard leads we have connected the mics to a standalone karaoke player, an ordinary mp3 player, as well as the computer. The mic leads are a little shorter than we would like, not much of a problem (the flat is quite small after all) and are of a reasonable quality considering the price. It would be easy to upgrade to more professional mics at a later stage. I find mic 2 a little quieter than mic 1 at the same volume, there is no scart adaptor included and a dvd with some starter tracks would have been a nice addition. All in all a useful buy, great fun and one which can be adapted to work in a variety of situations.

I bought this for our Xmas Karaoke and was not disappointed. Connect it to a PC, plug it into the mains and TV and get you tube songs. The Microphones are good quality and the mixer bow works well. Buy it if you want home Karaoke! PS better than the xfactor one! We are all set for fun this Xmas...

Very cheap and nasty, not as advertised, very cheap microphones which even when used with a decent amp do not work well. Avoid!
