3.0 out of 5 stars Kindle Users Beware 12 Sep 2012
By Kastor - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Kindle Edition
I really enjoyed what I read. It was exactly what I wanted to read. Unfortunately, in the kindle version of this book, there is only a single story (about the guy with the disease). It is about a minute's read. Is this a piece of humor on the part of the author? Is something wrong with the kindle edition? Bezos only knows. But it would be super sweet if someone could let me know what happened.

1.0 out of 5 stars Kindle version is only ONE story 26 Nov 2012
By Robb - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
Wasted my money. Despite the product details saying it's 272 pages, there is another area where it says you only get one story. It's very easy to miss -- which I did. So I guess it's my fault, but this I still think it's shady.
3.0 out of 5 stars meh 12 April 2012
By A - Published on Amazon.com
I liked a lot of the stories in this volume. My favorite, the title eludes me now, was about a editor that his hitting on a erotic writer through his notes and corrections which was pretty hilarious. The problem with most of these stories are that most of them have a similar center: teenagers that are deadly.
Overall it was good for a few laughs and the whole thing can be read within one sitting. The prose were nice and clean and flow nice enough that it isn't really bad, but the plots all converge to a blur.
1.0 out of 5 stars BEWARE THE SINGLE SHORT STORY PURCHASE 22 Jan 2012
By Jose Sotolongo - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
If you buy just the one short story that gives the collection its title (for a $1.99 in January of 2012), you will probably feel cheated, as I was. It is a single story, as expected, but rudimentary to say the least. I thought I was reading a synopsis of a story instead of the whole thing. I took exactly 90 seconds to read, and had no development whatsoever. I am not sure I will pursue reading this writer further.
