Product Description
USB stands for Universal Serial Bus, which was designed to replace older serial and parallel ports and runs a range of peripherals, i.e. Keyboards, Mice, Joysticks, Modems and Monitors etc. USB is faster, because the data speed of the USB is around 100 times faster than a serial connection, currently between 1.5 (low speed) and 12 Mbps (high speed), with the new future standard, USB 2.0, running up to 480 Mbps. Using USB hubs you can easily connect up to a maximum of 127 devices on your computer. USB is easy to use because Windows 98 (and SE), ME / 2000, XP and Mac OS will automatically recognise the newly installed devices - and you wont have to reboot after installing. The maximum cable length between USB devices is 5 Mtrs, with a maximum 25 Mtrs, achieved using several USB Line Boosters.Suitable for all USB Printers - HP / Lexmark / Epson / Canon etc

I bought this cable, as I needed to connect two printers to
the same laptop. First, I looked in the local shops. The price for a similar item (with gold plated connections !) was 15
quid. I checked Amazon, and bought this cable, for just over a
pound ! To be honest, I was not expecting top quality, but it has been fine. One of my "better buys". I have used the cable regularly, there have been no problems at all. Great value for money.

Amazon Verified Purchase
This lead costs next to nothing. I've bought it twice. The first time it arrived in 2 days. The second time it took about a month. The reason being postal strikes! We weren't getting any mail so I was being patient. It wasn't the company's fault. When I did email them after a couple of weeks they said that if I didn't get it in the next few days they would send me another one. Which I thought was very nice.
The lead is a good length. Better to be too long than too short. It is white but don't worry about it.

Value USB printer cable
Great value for money! I needed a usb lead for my spare printer so thought I'd try this one as it was so cheap 0.97p. Worked brilliantly no reason to spend more. Would recommend

printer usb cable
When i got my laser printer as per usual it did not come with a cable. Believe it or not it would cost me £12.95 extra. That is nearly half the price i paid for the printer. Read more
