The head on my trusty 7-year old hoover alpina needed replacing as it had worn out after loads of use - the retractable brushes on the underside of the head had long stopped working so the vacuum cleaner wasn't being as effective as it could.
I finally got round to having a look here on amazon as I was fed up of vacuuming like a demon but it being quite hard work as I was having to hoover the same area a few times to make a good job of it.
I tried it out for he first time yesterday. It's brilliant and works a treat. Because it also has a felt-type material on the head which dislodges hair etc from the carpet, I didn't even need to use the retractable brushes. It's robust and is a perfect fit.
The only thing wrong with my vacuum cleaner was that the head needed replacing as the suction is still great, so I'm pleased that I finally got round to buying this replacement head - my vacuum cleaner now works like new.
I wasn't sure whether to buy the head on amazon as there were no reviews, but I'm so glad I did. The total price was very reasonable as delivery was free, and it arrived quickly in about 3 days.

Spot On
Very hard for them to get an item like this wrong, and they haven't. Fitted my hoover perfectly (as expected having checked the sizing beforehand!) and does the job.

Perfect replacement & cheap
My Philips vacuum that is more than 12 years old is still working fine but the head, gave up after all this time.

Great product
Excellent product - has given my vax cleaner a new lease of life. Suction has improved and the head is wider than my old one so covers more ground.
