A long overdue book which teaches basic - if unpopular - biblical principles of authority and submission. This is a challenging message, but a very necessary one for today's church. Swallow it whole.

John Bevere writes from his own experiences which provides balance and the human element to what could otherwise be a severely challenging book for Christians in this postmodern age when institutions are suspect, leaders have to earn respect rather than expect it as a direct consequence of their position and title, and the concepts of obedience and submission are distinctly uncool. This is a well considered, well-written and well-thought out book and every church leader should have a copy plus a couple of spares to hand out when and where required!
