My wife uses this for her jewellery, and using the pre-programmed timing it brings them up a treat even with just tap-water.
The instructions recommend starting out with plain water to see how that cleans, then building up with a drop of washing up liqud, before trying the supplied cleaning fluid.
A neat, compact unit, easy to use and comes with a variety of holders and baskets for cleaning other stuff like CDs and watches (haven't tried these yet, to be fair)

Excellent bit of kit. It is not a magic answer to all your cleaning problems though. Transforms jewellery and the gems. Cleans my glasses a treat as well. If you want shiny coins give it a try. Have also bought one for my bling sister in law.

Ultra 7000 ultra sonic cleaner
Although this cleaner works well enough, on less stubbornly stained objects, it struggled to thoroughly clean older items . worked fine on bringing up jewellery to high lustre .
