I've bought dashboard and screen mounts for my iPhone4 in the past and have been disappointed. Dashboard mounts I've used failed because they are bulky and my phone inevitably fell off. Screen mounts almost always required saliva and left suction marks all over the screen to advertise expensive in-car equipment to thieves; also, the steep rake on my windscreen made it a long stretch to fix things to. So I decided to try an alternative.
I thought this mount would be too flimsy to be a real solution but was very pleased when I opened the package it came in. The mount is well made and quite sturdy. When I attached it to my air vent and clipped my iPhone to it (very easy to do) I was very impressed. The adjustable knuckle let me angle the phone perfectly to view my sat-nav app and it doesn't bounce around like it would if it was fixed to the windscreen.
This is a very good quality product and I recommend it to anyone wanting an alternative to other mounts.

I probably should have checked before I bought but, like another reviewer, I believed this would fit any car. It does not, however, fit the air vents of a 2004 Vauxhall Astra.

This pack of 4 items is very good. The plastic quality is not too cheap and nasty. The mount is very simplistic and can be a nuisance to tighten sometimes but it gets easier with practice to make it stable. You need to remove any cover from the iPhone 4 to use it in the supplied holder but that's not too much of a hassle. A very useful kit to have and I would say a good price for what you get.

Great idea but read this before buying
I rellay liked the idea of this kit. But when I came to attach the bracket arm to my car air vents i discovered they were to big to fit in. Apart from that issue it is great.

Disappointed
Product quality is quite bad, charge cable plug is very weak and unplugs very easily even just slightly moving the phone. The only part reusable is the car conector.

Fantastic product for the money
You could not do better if you want a lightweight iphone carrier for your car. It does everything you would expect and holds the phone firmly and securely.
