4.0 out of 5 stars a grown ups dubstep album 29 Dec 2012
Format:Audio CD
I wasn't familiar with the tracks prior to playing. They are not particularly memorable individually but flow together to make a quality album. It sounded s little boring on headphones ( even high quality bass specific headphones) or in the car. This album only works on big proper speakers (12"+ woofers), preferably multiple pairs

4.0 out of 5 stars Kick ass Beats! 15 Jan 2013
Format:Audio CD|Verified Purchase
I have heard of UKF tracks over on their YouTube channel, so I finally to get one for myself. This album is definitely worth it in terms of track quality, mixing and transitions. However, I was hoping for the album to contain complete tracks, not a gapless continuous mix. Despite this, it's actually one of the best albums I've listened to.

4.0 out of 5 stars Very good mix 9 April 2013

This compilation has lots of great tracks and his full of heavy hitting tunes. I just wish this was a double cd, I feel like there was a lot of good music that came out in 2012 which was left out of this compilation.
4.0 out of 5 stars A good album, not the best, but not bad 23 Sep 2013

If you like dubstep, it won't disappoint you. My only complaint is that some of the songs are needlessly repetitive. It is still a fantastic deal and a definite buy. Previous years have given better albums, but again, this one is still great for the price and has good tracks.
5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent Mix of Dubstep 31 Aug 2013

I thought this album's standouts are superb dubstep! I can listen to them over and over again... Perfect to ride to on long, cruising trips or when I want to speed and get amped for the next party! Examples of the standouts are: Bring It Down, Bass Salt, Universe, Still With Me, Always, Bounce, The Raver and Sleepless, which I think are classics that will be banging for years to come.
I definitely recommend this for listeners who want an introduction to dubstep or want to get a good quality mix of it. Of course, though, not all the songs are choice - like I am not a big fan of Decisions or Experts... However, because the standout tracks make up for the lack of attractiveness of some of the weaker songs, in my opinion, I'm giving this CD 5 stars!

3.0 out of 5 stars Some Songs Are Good. Continuous Mix Is Pretty Garbage 4 Mar 2013
By Jeffrey - Published on

I saw the 1 star review for this and was kind of shocked. UKF has THAT bad of a CD? How can that be! Buy buy buy. Well...its not 1 star bad, but it certainly isnt 5 star quality. If you listen to these albums track by track and ignore the continuous mix then you probably will find that this CD isnt all that bad. Just skip the songs you dont like which there are a few not good ones. But the reason i dont like it is because it does have an incosistent boring tone when all the songs are put together. Who ever did the continuous mix should be fired.

On the continuous mix the first bunch of songs are more of that darker dubstep. Not the evil kind of dubstep like Bratkilla but more of a Noisia kind of dark. Except that, its not Noisia and the songs are only okay. Then it gets out of its dark groove and you explode with energy from the awesome female vocal tracks. "still with me", Universe, City 2 City, The Raver, Suffocate. this part is SOOOO GOOD. You are exploding with friggen energy! YES YES GIVE ME MOOOOOOORE! And then fricken "Always" comes on. What doofus puts a slow song like that after such an awesome block of music? I mean the song is good and is used in another UKF cd (where it fits better) but here? REALLY??? You lose all energy. Its like its not even the same CD anymore. The next song, slooooooow beat. boring as all hell. Next song, just as slow. Slooooooow repetative beats. Its garbage. Then "Wanna Die for You" comes on and your like, sweet building this energy tower back up! But its too late. You cannot peak as high as you were before and youve pretty much lost interest in this CD for the most part.

Basicly TLDR: Okay songs flow into Great songs which flow into really slow boring energy draining songs which flow into good songs.
